At Hutchings & Cremin you will see fine jewellery that is unique to our store. This is because many of the pieces are designed and produced in our own workshop. To augment our own designs and to offer the best possible selection, we also carry pieces from other designers and specialized  manufacturers. Custom design is also an important part of the service provided and we have an extensive library of photographs and designs for interested customers to browse through at their leisure. A priority at Hutchings & Cremin is to give personal service and to satisfy the individual requirements of each of our clients. 

The Store, which opened in 1994 is one of Ottawa's most beautiful heritage limestone buildings. It  is located at 55 Murray Street in the heart of the exciting and historic ByWard Market, a popular Ottawa tourist destination. We are located in the building which was the original site of Ottawa's oldest hotel.  The central walkway of this site was the original entrance for the horse and carriage of hotel guests, hence it's present name 'The Carriageway'. 

Store hours are Tuesday to Thursday,10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We design and make a large percentage of the jewellery in the store and specialize in custom designs, including custom engagement rings and wedding bands.
