Summer 2009

We were delighted to have had more participants this year than in the last few years and with Mother Nature’s cooperation, the day encouraged a large public attendance for the event, which raised close to $600.00 for the Ottawa Mission’s Stepping Stones Program.

A new addition to this year’s event was the presence of 4 antique vehicles from the Bytown Fire Brigade.

Seeing such beautiful vehicles put big smiles on everyone’s faces but it was the kids who were completely extactic at the site. They squealed with excitment as they climbed up the fire trucks and hopped into the big driver’s seats, beaming grins from ear to ear.

Hundreds of spectators visited the 7 sites admiring the vehicles. Thank you to everyone who participated and/or supported the 2009 ByWard Market Auto Classic event.
We hope you will join us again next year!
