Cooking Times for Turkey

Here’s a quick and helpful turkey cooking chart. Don’t forget to stop in to Aubrey’s Meats, 59 York Street, for your locally farm raised free run turkeys that have been naturally fed and have zero chemicals. The turkeys are air chilled as opposed to water chilled. This makes for a more flavourful and colourful turkey.

Also, Sasloves Meat Market located at 50 ByWard Market offers local free range turkeys that are antibiotic and hormone free. You can also find alternatives such as Cornish hens and Canadian Rack of lamb and leg of lamb.

Sausage Kitchen, located at 5 ByWard Market offers a different service. Bring in your own turkey, or purchase one and have it smoked for a truly different taste. They also offer this service for your ham! Simply bring in your turkey 2-3 days in advance unfrozen and Master Sausage Maker Jacek will smoke it to perfection!
