Ice Bar

Patty Boland's Ice Bar

Starts Friday February 1st, 2008 from 10 pm until 1 am

The ice bar will run every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 pm -1 am during February or until warmer weather doesn't permit.

Sponsored by Smirnoff Canada the bar is 6 foot long by 4 foot high solid Bar Built of Clear Cultured Ice

2 Luge Options: Cranberry Luge & Single snow Flake Shaped Luge

Winterlude Stew Cook-off

Join us on the corner of William and George Street between 12-2 pm to enjoy over 20 stews made by ByWard Market Businesses. Cost to enter is $10.  All funds raised will be donated to the Have a Heart Give Smart Campaign. Once you've had your fill of stew fill out a ballot to chose the People's Choice Winner.

Celebrity Judges for this year's event include: Cheif of Police Vernon White, Councilor Georges Bédard, food columnist for the Ottawa Citizen Gay Cook, food editor for the Ottawa Citizen Ron Eade and food columnist for Le Droit Pierre Jurry.

Our great hosts include Mathieu Fortin from Télévision Rogers and Sandy Sharkey from BOB FM.
