This collection of paintings is a vibrant and colourful perspective of New York, Tokyo and Paris. Cities have a life and personality of their own, as can be seen by its people and architecture. The colourful buildings of Manhattan, the notorious yellow taxies of NYC ... the energy of Tokyo and the powerful colours that overwhelm its busy streets, juxtaposed with its history and culture... Paris, set in the quartier du Marais where I explore the present and the past through colour, movement and form. From tranquil blue skies to busy streets full of life and light; I have tried to capture the heart of these three cities on canvas.
Miniatures and small works by Gilles Lacombe, drawings by Malgosia Chelkowska, watercolours by Leonard Gerbrandt , sculptures by John McHale and selected works by other artists of the gallery.
