2027 LARGE-SCALE EVENT INTAKE
October 1 - December 31, 2026
Planning a larger or more complex activation in 2027? BMDA’s annual intake includes proposals requiring significant operational coordination, such as street or right-of-way closures, substantial infrastructure, larger footprints or attendance, or extensive municipal coordination.
ByWard Market 200th Tourism Animation Fund
A one-time funding opportunity supporting new and enhanced tourism experiences that celebrate the ByWard Market’s history, culture and legacy.
Up to $20,000 or 50% of eligible project expenses
Projects taking place between January 1 and December 31, 2027
Priority areas include arts and culture, festivals, nightlife, culinary experiences, diversity and inclusion, official languages, indigenous experiences and waterway activations.
