Translation: Mango and the ByWard Market Distrct Authority are thrilled to invite you to the 10th edition of Barket, our furry friends’ favourite free market of the year! 

All pups and their humans are welcome to enjoy a woof-tastic day in the ByWard Market, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where you can:  

• Treat yourself to a hearty brunch at Lowertown Brewery and Tucker’s Marketplace  

• Create a clay print of your dog's paw in the Paw Print Workshop hosted by Yulia (from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. - all funds will be donated to rescue)

• Participate in a Doggy Fashion Show on York Street sponsored by Lowertown Brewery and hosted by CTV news anchor Stefan Keyes (from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., free entry!)  

• Treat your best friend to delicious, gourmet, dog-friendly desserts from Pawtisserie Desserts at the corner of the ByWard Market Square and York Street, and flews-licking creme Pup-Cups by Stella Luna 

• Stroll through a pet-themed market hosted by Sarah Kealy on York Street (all day long) 

• Get live portraits of your pet from Ottawa School of Art's Pet Painting Portraits on George Street Plaza (all day long) 

• Get a pet-themed face painting for yourself and your kids on York Street West (all day long)  

• Take photos with our dog mascots who will be roaming the Market, or at our Pupp-arazzi booth on William Street 

• Stop by bwd Petcare's mobile grooming van on the William Street Pedestrian Area for a quick dog nail trimming (for $19.99 + HST - all day long) 

• Connect with the following community groups who will be present all day long:
